You get what you pay for
If you look for and then buy the cheapest version of a thing that you can find, there should not be much surprise when it proves to be heckin janky.This is heckin janky.I just needed a camera so I could watch my senior dog when he’s sleeping and I’m in my office across the house from him. (I don’t make him move when I move rooms.) So I was looking for basic, inexpensive, zero bells and whistles like most baby monitors and remote cameras have. I just need to know when he wakes up. I was hoping the price of this camera was because of a lack of bells and whistles, bug I think it’s because of a lack of quality over all.Setting it up was difficult. There’s be error messages but then something would work. And then I was connected. So great.A couple days later after getting it to work, it disconnected. Could not find my network. The instructions are vague and poorly translated. I did everything I could think of to get it to reconnect. What finally worked was my boxing it back up to return it. I still had the app on my phone open. When I had the camera unplugged, all of the sudden the app was indicating it was ready to go find a device. So I opened it back up, plugged it in, and then proceeded through the prompts. And then there was an error message and I swear all I did was try again, and … it connected. It’s almost completely random if it works or not.I just want to make sure my little old man dog is safe. This is ridiculous.Anyway. We’re back up and running. I can see and hear when my dog wakes up so I can go get him. If this craps out one more time I am just going to return it.If you have a simple application for a remote camera, I understand you don’t want to pay a lot. But pay just a little bit more anyway, is my suggestion. This technically does the job. Until it doesn’t. It might more trouble than the money you are saving.If you have a baby to watch or you are using it for security or some other more important application where you really need to be able to rely on the camera… I cannot recommend this model. The images are grainy and the sound is tinny. I just don’t think it’s reliable.

Do not buy this security cam era, if you don’t subscribe to the cloud the cámara will not work
I can’t set up the camera because is forcing me to subscribe to the cloud for a monthly fee

Great product.
Purchased as a duel camera. Have it in the window at the front door and it notifies us when someone come on porch. When my grandson is here, I use it as a baby monitor.
