  1. My son’s computer is on wireless and in the play room, one floor down and opposite side of the house where the router is. I have 1Gig fiber to the house and he was only getting about 15Mbs down and sporadic disconnects. The TP-Link USB WiFi Adapter for Desktop PC, AC1300Mbps USB 3.0 is a huge performance improvement over his previous USB adapter. Now he’s pulling 150Mbs down been solid all day. Signal strength in Win10 has gone from 1 bar to 3 out of 4 bars.Just plug it in. Connect to your wireless network and done. No need to mess w/ CD.

  2. This device saved me from potentially having to get rid of my laptop, whose wi-fi adapter has been failing to the point of my having to run the Windows troubleshooter multiple times a day, or even within the hour. In laptops, these adapters are built into the motherboard. This TP-Link adapter, at less than $25, took minutes to install and thereafter took over my Internet connection from the original one (which I disabled). So far it has performed exactly as it should. It’s dual band, as my router is. It was certainly worth the cost.

  3. Compatible with windows 10 as driver was not required although software was supplied on a cd. Call Dan connected to home Wi-Fi

  4. I don’t know what else to say: plug it in to an available USB socket on the computer — in my case it was a Dell OptiPlex 9020 SFF Computer Desktop PC with Window 10 Pro — and it just works. We have good WiFi so I did not put it to a particularly hard test as far as signal strength. However, I can attest to it being a quality product that doesn’t require any set-up.

  5. I was dreading setting this up but finally decided to go ahead and do it. I was shocked at how fast and easy this was to set up and works perfectly. Now i can move my desktop to another room! So simple. My only regret is not ordering this sooner.
