Oppo is one of the famous private companies for the smartphones.

Oppo is a Chinese electronics manufacturer founded in 2001, one of the famous private companies for the manufacture of the best smartphones and electronic devices.

The founder and CEO of this company is Chen Mingjiung,

 Guangdong is called OPPO Mobile Telecommutions and is abbreviated as Oppo.

Known for its smartphone industry and many electronic devices, the company was ranked eighth globally as the best smartphone brand in China in 2016.

Although  OPPO is now one of the world’s largest smartphone manufacturers, it was  its first portable MP3  player product named OPPO X3, which at the time was distinguished by quality and packed design.

 Smile Phone :

Its first phone in 2008 was called Smile  Phone or Smile Phone, due to its design that carries a smile on the back, which helped the phone achieve tremendous success in China, where the Chinese company was forced to reproduce the phone five times to meet the growing demand for it.  

Chinese Conglomerate:

While OPPO  is the  second best-selling company in China,  Vivo  ranks first, and both companies with both Realme and OnePlus follow the same group, the BBK Electronics Group  that owns the four companies, which makes the sales of the entire group companies in the first place in smartphone sales.

OPPO Innovations :

In 2013, the  company launched an OPPO N1 phone  that  carries a rotating camera on top that can be rotated up to 206 degrees, with a simple touch on the fingerprint sensor. 

In 2014, the company set a Guinness World Record, launching the  OPPO R5 as the thinnest smartphone  with a thickness of only about 4.85 mm that broke the record for the thinnest smartphone.

In 2018 Oppo launched its Oppo Find X smartphone  in Paris, a phone that carried a unique design with a bezel-free screen.

In 2021, Oppo announced the concept of a smartphone named OPPO X 2021 with an innovative design with a wrappable screen based on a sliding frame.

Glasses:

Thecompany officially announced smart glasses named  Oppo Air Glass, and said that the new smart glasses unlike augmented reality will show the user 2D graphics  instead of integrating stereoscopic objects into the real world.

Equipped with Spark Micro Projector  technology, it also comes equipped with a sophisticated  Micro LED  display, with support for interaction with user commands in four diverse ways including touch, sound, head movement and hand movement, which the Chinese company says allows users easier and faster to access the information they need.

New OPPO :

The company announced from the beginning of last September of this year 2022  the start of  sending beta updates for the release of the Android 13 operating system with its flagship phone  Oppo Find X5 and then for the smartphone Reno8 Pro 5G  to its users and then will gradually reach the smartphone Oppo A74 5G

Ads:

In 2011, the Chinese company OPPO relied  on American actor Leonardo DiCaprio to promote the first Find smartphones, through a series of advertisements to reveal the features of the new phone series Find.

Sponsorship of major sports teams and tournaments :

Oppo is famous for sponsoring teams and sporting events, such as Vivo where OPPO  won sponsorship of the rights of the Indian national cricket team in a contract that extends to 2022.

 The company  also previously had a contract to sponsor the Spanish club Barcelona that resulted in the launch of a limited edition of its smartphone R11 in the colors of the Catalan team.

 The Chinese company is also a sponsor of the prestigious Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

Oppo also announced the signing of Liverpool and Egyptian national team player Mohamed Salah as its brand ambassador for the  Middle East and Africa region earlier in 2020.
