Works great with my wired ear buds
I use this on my iPhone SE with wired noise canceling earbuds and it does the job. Annoying because you can’t charge at the same time and I’m not going to get rid of my wonderful wired old school $200 earbuds in favor of Bluetooth!

Always need an extra one!
I still use the wired earphones. I always keep an extra iPhone to earphone jack. You have to have one and it works perfectly!
