What is the dial on the back with numbers and a notch? The notch is movable.
There are never enough outlets, it seems. These little things do help. I like how you can plug in a big power cube and not lose so many outlets. They are certainly not very pretty but then all the wires we have in our lives now are not pretty by nature anyway. They stay plugged in well and unlike the old style power taps they do not seem to work their way out of the socket so easily.
Arrived today, just what I needed, and as described.Aside from receiving an incorrect answer [questions above] from an owner of this product,the wire gauge is 16AWG.FYI The wire gauge (AWG) is stamped on most extension/power cords, and this productalso has it embossed on the back of the receptacle housing.These are very handy, useful in many applications, provided you don’t need larger gaugewire ( 14AWG-12AWG-10AWG, etc ) to handle higher currents, amps, watts, etc.Good price for 15 receptacles, quality is fine.
Usefull for adding additional outlets to an existing power strip or to a wall outlet. With all of the gadgets we need to hook up to nowadays, there is never enough outlets. These three outlet powerstrips are built pretty well and handle 13 amps total. The cord measures about 12 inches to the end of the plug. This is great for an application close to your plugin but get something longer if you need more length. Overall a good product at a great price.
We rolled out a new VOIP telephone system in an environment that didn’t have POE switches so we were forced to be prepared for the wall wart adapters. This little power strip is like the one I carry on my overnight trips. It worked great when I needed to plug in an AC adapter for the phone. I bought spares so now they will be available to us for other needs. I don’t need a long cord, just lift me up off the power strip for the AC adapter. They are great to share an outlet at the airport with someone else that has plugged in ahead of you.
