back up camera great replacement
Honestly surprised with this camera for the price. I’ve bought other cheap backup cameras and I got what I deserved when I got them all wired up and they didn’t even work. This camera was great. Had plenty of cable to reach from my head unit, routed through my cab. Under my truck all the way to the tail lights and bumper. I drive a crew cab diesel truck and was shocked that the wiring was long enough. Still had a few feet of extra wiring. The camera quality is actually very surprising. Now I’m not sure how much I trust the guiding line indicators. But I’ll be honest I don’t really use them. I can see the ball on my toe hitch and go off that visual to see how close I am to what is behind me. That being said. Is also awesome for backing up to a trailer. The instructions that come with this is basically worthless. Might as well throw it away when you open the camera out of the box. It’s one paragraph on how to install it. But the reason being. It’s not too hard to figure out. Just need some creativity and basic wire splicing knowledge. You only have to splice 3 wires. But I do recommend this camera. It is big and bulky and ugly. But it works well and is easy to install.
The first camera we received stopped working after a while. After posting a review that reflected that, the company reached out to us and sent us a replacement right away. In fact they sent us what appears to be an upgraded camera for free. A+ customer service.
Great quality camera for an affordable price. The description is vague, but manufacture prompts to respond and resolve your issues quickly. I like the company’s customer service and the technical support is awesome! Overall I definitely recommend this camera.
It wouldn’t fit at the top of my plate cus of the trim pane.l but luckily u can take came off the mount and flip mount upside down and re attach cam. It does press against the wire just barely but doesn’t cut into to it. Other than its a great camera for the price.
