Lost its accuracy
I don’t actually know if it lost its accuracy or if it never had it, but I started having problems with it giving me a normal reading when I was having symptoms of hypoglycemia, or giving me a normal reading only for it to give me an exceptionally high one an hour later after I had a sandwich. I finally got the VA to give me a new meter and tested the two against each other. The Auvon meter was consistently 15-30 points off of the Freestyle Freedom Lite meter that the VA gave me, but what was inconsistent was whether it was high or low. Now, I’ve had an Auvon meter before and never had this problem but that meter was lost which is why I bought a second one. I cannot risk this level of inaccuracy in a glucometer. It has given me readings on the low end of normal when my blood sugar has been dangerously low. And I’ve tried getting a new bottle of test strips and replacing the battery, but nothing helped.

Difficult to get right blood amount
It is easy to use and get the result quick but it is hard to get blood at a time for some reason

Easy to use, fast and accurate.
I got this to monitor my blood sugar. Retired male, 25 lbs over weight and borderline 109 sugar.Doc said, I’m borderline diabetic, but not close enough to warrant drugs, so he wouldn’t order a tester for me. I decided to get one with good review so I can see if I can get my sugar inline with proper exercise and eating right.I tested daily at first, then a few times a week. So far I’m not going higher and some days I’m running lower.Good value, and easy to use.
